What is considered an attributed sale?
An order is attributed when eligible Hellotext evidence falls within its attribution window and no valid external source takes precedence. Evidence can include Hellotext UTMs; Campaign, Playbook, or Journey link clicks; recommendation engagement; and eligible deliveries or signals.
Default windows are 7 days from the eligible click or engagement and 24 hours from the eligible delivery or signal. The window begins when that evidence occurs.
Human participation or a manually entered order does not automatically exclude attribution. Custom positive-value events that are not eligible purchase or goal events are recorded as store revenue but are not attributed. For each order, the engine evaluates the source, identity, participation, and available evidence.
Are AI‑powered messages really unlimited?
For most brands, yes—in practice they’re included. Each month you pay only one of these, whichever is highest: (1) your plan minimum, (2) the performance fee (1–5% of attributed revenue), (3) SMS costs, or (4) the variable messaging fee.
That means AI-powered WhatsApp/Instagram/Webchat messages come at no extra cost whenever your performance fee, your plan minimum, or your SMS costs are higher than the variable messaging fee. Only if all three are lower do we charge the variable fee of US $2 per 1,000 messages (never in addition to the others).
Note: WhatsApp conversation fees from Meta are billed separately.
Do I need payment information to get started with Starter?
Hellotext offers a Starter plan with no monthly fee or time limit. We charge 5% of sales attributed to Hellotext and applicable messaging costs.
You can create an account without a credit card. Starter has limited features, and actions with a cost may require wallet balance or a payment method.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel whenever you like—no contracts or hidden fees.
What payment methods are supported?
We accept major credit cards and bank transfers, depending on your region.
In what currency will I be charged?
You’ll be billed in your local currency whenever possible. The pricing page will show the currency based on your location.
